Volunteer testimonial

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF HELP?: A charity far and away from volun-tourism.

WHAT DID YOU GET OUT OF THE EXPERIENCE PERSONALLY?: It was both a hugely rewarding and challenging experience. I learned a lot of my abilities as a language teacher (and not a small amount about patience too). I felt truly immersed in a small Ladakhi community and feel confident that I helped in my own small way.

Volunteering with HELP offers all the good things of working with a small, personal organisation: in-depth local knowledge from the HELP organisers, and the feeling that one is doing something for the first time.
