The children listed below are looking for sponsors. They all come from poor families, and sponsorship will provide their families with a secure stream of income that will ensure that they are able to complete their education. We have deliberately not included their photographs in order to avoid holding a beauty contest.

The Yeti or Abominable Snowman is reputed by the Sherpas to live in the Himalayas, but numerous expeditions have failed to verify the existence of these creatures...

'Gurkha' is the name given to the Nepalese soldiers employed in the British and Indian armies. Their traditional weapon is a curved knife called a 'khukuri', which is used not just in mortal combat, but also for slaughtering animals and chopping vegetables.
